What Serenima is

Serenima is a personal wellbeing companion from Psycho-Tec Systems. It offers supportive conversation, mood tracking, gentle habits, and weekly reflections. Serenima is not a medical device and does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional help or emergency services.

Information we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.

Conversations: messages you exchange with Serenima are stored so you can revisit your history and so Serenima can respond with context.

Mood and habit entries: moods, notes, habits, and goals you record.

Voice: if you use voice features, your audio is transcribed and then discarded — recordings are not kept on our servers.

Location: only if you start an SOS live-location share, and only for as long as the share is active. Location sharing stops the moment you end it.

Purchases: if you subscribe, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We receive subscription status through RevenueCat; we do not store your full payment card details.

Website waitlist: if you ask to be notified when Serenima is available to download, we store the email address you submit (and the time you joined) so we can send that one note. We do not use waitlist addresses for advertising.

How your information is used

Your data is used solely to provide Serenima’s features: responding to you, personalizing conversations, showing your history, generating weekly insights, operating SOS sharing with the emergency contacts you choose, managing your subscription, and — if you joined the waitlist — telling you when the app is ready. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI processing

To generate responses, transcriptions, and spoken audio, your messages and voice input are processed by third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI) through a secure integration. These providers process your content to return a response and are not permitted to use it to train their models under the terms of our integration.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in a protected database. Access requires authentication tokens that expire automatically. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Your choices

You can delete individual emergency contacts, stop SOS sharing at any time, and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, conversations, moods, habits, and contacts from our database. To leave the website waitlist, email spellot@psycho-tec.us.

Children

Serenima is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app.
